The First Presenter
Hey! How are y'all surviving these hot summer days?
It was already last Saturday that Yoshi and I held a meeting in Ebisu to discuss for the event. After the quality discussion, we went on a long walk from Ebisu to Daikanyama to search for some inspiration to come up with ideas to make the event more exciting and fruitful. Dropped by at the Tsutaya Bookshop to chill, then roamed around the stylish modern houses in the sleek residential district of Aobadai. Soared our imagination what kind of fortunate people would be living in the area. When realized we already reached Nakameguro, must’ve taken us two to three ours to get there. Eventually we didn’t accomplish the original mission to find the booster for the event, but I’d say after all that walk was good for a change!
Along Meguro River were many, many people wandering around in the hot weather. You could guess what they were up to if I tell you that they were holding their mobile phones in the hand and looking for something - that’s right they were playing Pokemon Go, the astonishing-frenzy-making app in the world. I wonder if there were the rare pokemons around the river? ...Me? I have the app on my phone, but haven’t played it much just yet.
What is more exciting than Pokemon Go for me? Of course, it is Bottoms Up for Creators on Sat 27 August! The one we held in Dec last year was a music event, but this time it is going to be a little different and is going to be for creators and those who are interested in creative things and activities. To borrow Mr Johnny Kitagawa’s iconic line, we say “You! Just join us!”- that’s how light we want you to feel when joining the event. Yes, it is as accessible and accommodating as the last event so it won’t matter if you come alone or with friends, we have arrangements to make you engaged in the event all the way!
Come get mixed with other participants. How well you get to know each other is up to you, but we will assist along your way.
So, one of the keys of the event will be the presentations by the participants. – and here we would like to introduce the fist presenter.
